MEET LYNN EXNER.

The friend who’s been

to the uranium mine

and the boardroom.

Lynn Exner is a former science teacher, eight-year public engagement veteran, and COO of Canada Action. She built Smart Enough because the conversation Canadians need to have doesn't have a door yet. She's building one.

The nerd-to-human

translator.

Lynn spent twelve years teaching Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Sciences in Saskatchewan. She learned something in those classrooms that most experts never do: the gap between knowing something and being able to explain it is enormous — and that gap matters more than the knowledge itself.

For the last eight years, she's been closing that gap professionally. As COO of Canada Action, she's spoken at banking conferences and university campuses, facilitated Tribal Council meetings and town halls for energy companies, and moderated panels at the Global Energy Show, PDAC, and the Canadian Nuclear Association.

Her network includes executives, Indigenous leaders, economists, and policymakers she counts as actual friends — not just sources. Smart Enough is what happens when that network meets an audience that deserves access to the same conversations.
